We sell a product about looking after people's data, so it would be a poor show if we were vague about yours. This is the whole thing, in plain English.
TidyToolkit is run by [CONTROLLER NAME] of [CONTACT ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@tidytoolkit.uk.
If you join the waitlist, we collect your name, your care provider's name, and your email address. We use them for one thing: to email you about TidyToolkit — that it has launched, and what founding members get. Nothing else.
Our lawful basis is your consent, which is why you have to click a link in a confirmation email before we add you properly. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, and that removes you from the list.
We also process your IP address briefly when you submit the form, to stop bots and spam. The lawful basis there is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working. We don't use it to identify you and we don't build a profile from it.
Only the suppliers who help us run the site:
Where that involves your details leaving the UK, it's covered by the standard contractual protections those suppliers provide. We do not sell your details, and we never share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Until you unsubscribe, or until we've been in touch about launch and you tell us you're not interested — whichever comes first. If the product never launches, we delete the list and tell you we've done it.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no banner to click away. The only cookies here are the ones the site can't work without:

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email hello@tidytoolkit.uk and we'll do it. There's no charge and no form to fill in.
If you think we've handled your details badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd rather you told us first so we can fix it.
